Acceptable Use Policy

What you can — and cannot — do on NetVO LTD infrastructure.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every service we provide. It exists to protect our customers, our network and the wider internet.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not host, store, distribute or link to:

  • Content that is illegal under applicable law, or that facilitates illegal activity;
  • Malware, ransomware, exploits, or command-and-control infrastructure;
  • Phishing pages or content that impersonates another person or organisation for fraud;
  • Stolen data, credentials, or material that infringes intellectual property rights;
  • Child sexual abuse material (reported to authorities without exception).

2. Prohibited Activities

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating open mail relays / open proxies;
  • Launching denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, brute-force attacks or any unauthorised penetration of third-party systems;
  • IP spoofing, BGP hijacking or interference with network infrastructure;
  • Operating botnets, click-fraud or ad-fraud schemes;
  • Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting or on cloud plans where the product description prohibits it.

3. Resource Fairness

On shared platforms, sustained excessive resource consumption that degrades service for other customers is not permitted. Dedicated and bare metal services may use 100% of their allocated resources at all times. If a workload outgrows its plan, we will always propose an upgrade path before taking any limiting action.

4. Email Standards

  • Bulk mail must be opt-in, include a working unsubscribe mechanism, and comply with applicable law;
  • Valid SPF, DKIM and rDNS configuration is required for high-volume senders;
  • Purchased or scraped mailing lists are prohibited.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in a warning, suspension or termination, depending on severity. Where continued operation poses an immediate security or legal risk — for example an active attack or phishing campaign — we may suspend the affected service without prior notice, and will contact you as soon as practicable afterwards.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you observe abuse originating from our network, please report it with the source IP, destination, timestamps (with timezone) and any relevant logs. Our abuse desk operates 24/7.
